SJVN Limited reported a strong financial performance for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year 2022-23 (FY23). The company's revenue from operations for Q3 FY23 stood at Rs. 1,924.48 crore, registering a significant increase of 15.5% compared to Rs. 1,666.48 crore in Q3 FY22.

SJVN Limited and NHPC Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the joint development of the 210 MW Luhri Stage-I Hydro Electric Project in Himachal Pradesh. The Luhri Stage-I Hydro Electric Project is a run-of-the-river project on the river Satluj in the district of Shimla and Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. The project envisages the construction of a 140-meter-high concrete gravity dam, a 12.5-kilometer-long headrace tunnel, and a surface powerhouse with three generating units of 70 MW each.
