The initial public offering (IPO) of Gujarat Petrosynthese Ltd (GPL) has been subscribed 4.8 times on Day 2 of the offer. The public issue received bids for 32.21 crore shares against the offer size of 6.69 crore shares, as per data available on the NSE. The retail portion was subscribed 5.39 times, while the qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 10.03 times and the non-institutional investors' portion was subscribed 1.69 times.

Gujarat Petrosynthese Ltd has reported a 25% increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 56.33 crore for the quarter ended September 2022, from Rs 45.13 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations, however, declined by 1% to Rs 328.83 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal year, from Rs 332.13 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Gujarat Petrosynthese Ltd has reported an 11% decline in its standalone net profit to Rs 38.82 crore for the quarter ended September 2022, from Rs 43.80 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations, however, increased by 3% to Rs 272.64 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal year, from Rs 264.67 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
